Acworth, Georgia issues Confederate Heritage Month Proclamation

City of Acworth, Georgia Mayor Tommy Allegood presenting Sons of Confederate Veterans members: Calvin E. Johnson, Jr., George David Meyer and Lloyd Nawrocki a proclamation designing April as Confederate History and Heritage Month. Everyone clapped as we were presented this historical document that makes the third consecutive year for Acworth, Georgia.

 

When the Mayor asked for public comments a lady spoke of her grandfather who was a Confederate soldier.

 

We were treated with the best of hospitality.
