Terrell County, Georgia issues Confederate History and Heritage Month Proclamation

The following proclamation was passed today in Terrell County.  It passed unanimously.  There is a man among the Terrell County Commissioners that raised his hand to begin speaking before Commander Garner addressed the panel.  In the past he always voted against the proclamation and he is a member of the NAACP.  This year he said that he had voted against it because he didn’t really understand it.  This year he has had time to do a little research on his own and he is voting in favor of our proclamation!  This is the first time that it passed unanimously!
