Vernon Parrish, Louisiana - Confederate History Month program - April 19

The Vernon Historical and Genealogical Society will have a special program in honor of Confederate History Month on at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 19 at the Vernon Parish Library meeting room. 

Mr. James “Mike” Jones, Commander of the Anacoco Rangers Camp 1995 of The Sons of Confederate Veterans and Mr. John Hillman, Adjutant of the Newton, Texas chapter of the Sons of Confederate Veterans will be the guest speakers. 

Several members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans will be in period uniform.
